Kelly Stein-Marcus, PhD, is a multi-state licensed Clinical Health Psychologist and Certified Positive Psychology and Well-Being Coach, bringing more than 25 years of experience to her work. Her approach includes implementing evidence-based interventions designed to foster resilience, increase clarity, and facilitate meaningful progress for her clients.

Education and Training:Education and Training

Dr. Stein-Marcus holds a PhD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, demonstrating her deep commitment to academic excellence and clinical expertise. In addition to her doctoral degree, she earned master's degrees from Columbia University, further enhancing her breadth of knowledge in psychology and related fields. Her foundational academic journey began with a bachelor's degree from Emory University.

Her practical training included internships at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in clinical settings. Following these internships, Dr. Stein-Marcus completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine. She later joined the faculty at Yale, where she contributed to the education and development of future professionals by supervising trainees at the West Haven VA Medical Center.

Dr. Stein-Marcus now focuses on psycho-oncology. After her son was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in September 2024, she dedicated herself to pediatric oncology and survivorship, supporting nonprofits and developing psychological services for cancer patients, caregivers, and survivors.
